Purpose of Establishment

Hanyang Cyber University’s Department of Computer and Information Security was established to foster technicians and future entrepreneurs who can provide economic products and services for computer and information security in an effort to realize convenient and secure life for people living in the age of IoT.

Majors in the Department

Because computer engineering and information security engineering have many commonalities based on theory and technology despite having opposing aims of human convenience and security, these two areas are combined into one department to increase the mutual enhancing effect. And at the same time, by installing a computer engineering major and hacking security major within the department, internally stable curriculum and student teaching are realized under the responsibility of each major.
